Crystal Palace supporters will be flocking to Wembley Stadium today for the Community Shield match against Liverpool. This traditional season opener pits the Premier League champions against the FA Cup winners in a contest for the first silverware of the season.

In the past, fans have been able to watch the Community Shield on free-to-air broadcaster ITV. However, this season, the broadcasting rights for the game have been awarded to TNT Sports, reports the Liverpool Echo.

The game will be broadcast on TNT Sports 1 and Ultimate, with live streaming options also available through the Discovery App. While TNT Sports doesn't offer a free trial, you can subscribe to their channels if you're an EE, Virgin Media or Sky TV package holder.

Alternatively, you can opt for a subscription to the Discovery App at a monthly cost of £30.99.

What about viewers outside the UK?

Thankfully, for those located outside the UK, there are several broadcasters airing the matches. In the US, ESPN has the rights to the game, while in Canada, it's Sportsnet who'll be showing the action.

For viewers in Africa, most countries will be able to watch the game on DStv or SuperSport. However, in Egypt, the rights belong to beIN SPORTS.

French fans can catch the match on beINSPORTS, while in the Netherlands and Norway, ViaPlay will be broadcasting the fixture. Over in Australia, StanSport is the go-to channel for the match, and in Asia, South Korean viewers can tune into Coupang Play, while U-NEXT will be airing the game in Japan.
