's impressive performance comes at a time when his future is under intense speculation, with talks of a permanent switch to Chelsea being closely monitored.
Despite a promising start to his stint in west London, the former Borussia Dortmund forward has faced challenges during a period of poor form for Enzo Maresca's side, reports .
Sancho moved to Chelsea on a season-long loan last August, with a deal that includes an obligation to buy for a fee between £20m and £25m, provided Chelsea finish at least 14th in the Premier League this season.
With Chelsea currently sitting comfortably in the top four, it seems almost certain that they will secure a European spot, having been one of the early pace-setters alongside Liverpool.
However, it has been claimed that Chelsea could pay a smaller amount than their obligation to send Sancho back to United.
Since joining Chelsea, Sancho has netted twice in 29 appearances and has contributed five assists in the Premier League, as well as four in Europe - his recent exploits doubling his tally for the season.
He started off strong with four assists in his first three matches but has only managed to register one more since (against Crystal Palace in January).
As per the Daily Mail, it seems Sancho 'looks likely to return to United' initially in the summer.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are reportedly looking at options to strengthen their attack, with suggestions that Maresca's team will attempt to sign Jesus Rodriguez.
