The 26-year-old's form in Turkiye this season has only increased interest in his services this summer having come close to joining Chelsea before the start of the current campaign.
Osimhen's future at Napoli is expected to be resolved pretty quickly at the end of the current campaign, with it apparent he has future at the Serie A club under Antonio conte.
The Nigerian international was linked with a move to Saudi Arabia and Chelsea last summer, but was unable to agree terms regarding a move before joining Galatasaray on loan.
The Blues are understood to still be in the market for a striker this summer, with Osimhen once again linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea will be keeping a close eye on developments with Osimhen sending an emotional message to Galatasaray fans on social media amid ongoing uncertainty around his future.
The Nigerian forward posted a story that read: "Another big step taken! Super proud of this team!!! To the Galatasaray fans, your energy fuels us. We feel your passion in every pass, every tackle, every goal.

"We're almost there, the league title is within touching distance. Time to start warming up those dancing shoes! But it's not over yet.
"All focus now turns to Wednesday. The Turkish Cup final. Let's finish this season the Galatasaray way: with pride, passion, and silverware. God is the Greatest."
It remains to be seen if Galatasaray will be able to convince Osimhen to move to the RAMS Park permanently and the Turkish side will have to fend off interest from a number of high profile European clubs, like the Blues, Manchester United and Juventus.
Speaking earlier this season about the hunt for a striker, Maresca said: "My perfect No 9 is exactly Nico Jackson. We already have a No 9. It's not the summer now. If we can have a copy of Nico, it's OK. With Nico, we are a better team. Nico is the one we need.
"We are happy with Nico. And about next season? It's not the moment (to talk about transfers)."
