CUET-PG is a centralized entrance exam conducted for admission to postgraduate programs in many central and other participating universities of India. It aims to simplify the admission process and give students an opportunity for higher education through a single exam.
At the same time, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to postpone CUET-UG 2025, which was scheduled to start on May 8. The official announcement is yet to be made, but this decision may be taken due to logistical problems.
The second-largest entrance exam in the country
CUET-UG 2025 was earlier planned to be held from May 8 to June 1, 2025, at several centers in India and abroad. It is the second-largest entrance exam in the country, in which more than 13 lakh students register every year. The exam is held for admission to undergraduate programmes in central, state, deemed and private universities, including major universities like Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University, and Jawaharlal Nehru University.
The NTA, which conducts the exam, is also responsible for other major national-level exams like NEET and JEE.
