Popular Marathi and TV actress Priya Marathe died at the age of 38. She passed away on August 31 at her Mira Road residence in Mumbai, after a prolonged fight with cancer. Priya, admired for her work in both Hindi and Marathi television, had been undergoing treatment for the illness over the past few years. According to the TOI report, there were moments of hope when her condition seemed to improve, but the cancer unfortunately returned and progressed aggressively.
While many people do survive cancer, catching it late can make treatment much harder. Sadly, some well-known stars lost their lives too soon because of this disease. Here are seven Bollywood celebs who lost their battle against cancer.
