Previously, Allu Arjun received the Best Actor award at the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2025 and the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards for "Pushpa 2: The Rule." "Pushpa 2: The Rule" was released in 2024 and was a superhit at the box office. The film also starred Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Sunil, and Rao Ramesh in pivotal roles alongside Allu Arjun.

Allu Arjun will next be seen in director Atlee's new science-fiction action film. Deepika Padukone will star alongside Allu in the lead role. The film's title has not yet been finalized. However, the project has been titled AA22 x A6.
