Retro Box Office Collection Day 4: Suriya is a superstar of South cinema who has given Tamil cinema many hit films. Now once again he is storming the box office with Retro. Despite clashing with five films, Suriya's Retro has done good business within four days. It is expected that the film will also recover its budget.

Retro was released in theaters on May 1. The Tamil film had a direct clash with the Tamil drama Tourist Family which is giving competition to Suriya's movie in terms of earnings. This film may have opened the account with Rs 2 crore on the first day, but there has been a huge jump in earnings on Sunday which may become a problem for Retro.

Box office collection of Retro

The film Retro, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, was expected to have a huge jump in earnings on Sunday. The film did earn well but the growth was less. According to SACNILC, Retro earned only Rs 8 crore at the domestic box office on the fourth day. The earnings were the same on Saturday as well. The total collection till now has reached Rs 43 crores.

Suriya's Retro may have earned well at the box office, but it could not beat Raid 2 and Hit 3. On Sunday, Ajay Devgn starrer Raid 2 earned over Rs 21 crores. Overall, the collection of this film has reached Rs 70.75 crores. On the other hand, Nani starrer Hit 3 is also making a splash. It earned Rs 9.50 crores on Sunday and its total collection has reached 51.40 crores.
