Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has assured full support from the state government to resolve the issues faced by the Maharashtra State Waqf Board. During a meeting held today, Pawar directed the concerned officials to complete the ongoing construction projects for the Waqf Board with high quality and long-term sustainability, keeping the next 50 years in mind. He emphasized that the state government would provide all possible assistance to address the challenges confronting the Waqf Board.
The meeting, chaired by Ajit Pawar, was convened to review various issues related to the Waqf Board. Present at the meeting were Medical Education Minister Hasan Mushrif, Minority Development and Waqf Minister Dattatray Bharne, and other senior officials from the concerned departments.
Ajit Pawar reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring that the Muslim community in the state has access to quality education, healthcare, and other essential services. He highlighted that the Maulana Azad Economic Development Corporation would play a key role in effectively implementing schemes tailored to the community’s needs. Special efforts will also be made to provide job-oriented education and training to the youth. Additionally, the government will take the necessary steps to ensure the overall development of the community.
The meeting saw detailed discussions regarding the management of Waqf Board properties, fund distribution, education, and building projects. Ajit Pawar assured that the state government is determined to resolve the issues faced by the Waqf Board and directed the concerned departments to take immediate action in this regard.
