With his motto of "Your Fitness is My Goal!", fitness enthusiast Anant Kachare from Pune organized the 1st “Maharashtra Day Special Promo Run” in the Nanded area, attracting enthusiastic fitness lovers from across Pune city.
"In an age dominated by computers, mobiles, and television, this initiative aimed to inspire the younger generation to understand the importance of physical health and encourage them to engage in activities that promote well-being," said Kachare.
Free training sessions
He is well-known in the area for his free daily training sessions in Nanded, which include running, trekking, and various exercises designed to help individuals lead healthier lifestyles.
Every morning, a diverse group of people of all ages gather near Nanded to exercise under Kachre's guidance. Starting at 5:30AM, they run to Khadakwasla Dam, trek various hills in the city, and embark on weekend treks. Many group members expressed their gratitude toward Kachre, noting that he offers his services free of charge, asking only for discipline and a commitment to time. They shared how they’ve overcome lifestyle ailments after joining his group.
“We are proud to report the participation of people from all walks of life in this initiative. We’re especially thrilled that well-known Marathi cinema actor Suresh Vishwakarma actively joined us in supporting this cause,” Kachre said.
Kachre further expressed his happiness that people across Maharashtra are taking a pledge to live healthier lives. “Our goal is to continue taking meaningful steps toward promoting fitness, and in the future, we will keep organizing such ventures, working wholeheartedly to raise awareness about the importance of body health in society,” he concluded.
