The One Show took an emotional turn minutes into the latest episode as the celebrity guests opened up on their family past.
On Tuesday's show, presenters Clara Amfo and Alex Jones were joined on the green sofa by music legend Craig David, comedian Josh Widdicombe and wildlife cameraman Gordon Buchanan.
As the evening programme opened up with a video segment surrounding the topic of young boys not having a father figure or male role model in their lives, the three men spoke about their own experiences with their fathers and how it impacted them.

Gordon revealed: "I grew up with an absent dad, so you kind of don't know what you're missing until you make quite a lot of mistakes. Having a son definitely makes a difference, teaching him all the things that I wish someone had maybe taught me."
Craig also added that even though his parents had split, he was grateful for his dad's presence as he often saw him on the weekends.
Sharing his sentiments, he said: "I was very grateful that even though my mum and dad had split up when I was around eight, he was very active in my life.
"He became like a strong role model. I remember making speakers with him in the back garden and things like that, really land! Picking you up every weekend to make sure you've got a father figure with you.
"So I was really grateful that, regardless of the relationship, the father still shows up for the children. So that was a really powerful piece there," he expressed in admiration.
Lightening the mood, Josh then joked: "You know what, we're not underwhelming after that, are we?"
The conversation surrounding male role figures not being present in a young boy's life was also linked to the smash hit drama Adolescence. In the four-part series, viewers witnessed 13-year-old Jamie Miller arrested for the murder of a female schoolmate.
The charges made against Jamie in the fictional programme force the parents to confront their worst nightmare while trying to come to terms with their roles in his upbringing.
The One Show airs Mondays-Fridays at 7pm on BBC One.
