She was part of one of the biggest girlbands of the Nineties, has won two BRIT Awards, had five number 1 singles and sold over 10 million records worldwide. But these days 50-year-old has a very different career.
The singer, who sings lead vocals on huge hits like Never Ever, I Know Where It's At, Under The Bridge and Pure Shores, as well as having a solo career and appearing as a judge on The , seems to have swapped showbiz for cheffing if her latest pics are anything to go by.
Mel, who is still part of All Saints since they reunited in 2016 and regularly DJs at various events around the country, is also known by pals for her culinary skills. And her latest venture appears to be landing a chef residency at The Londesborough pub in Stoke Newington, North London.
Sharing a snap of herself from her birthday on March 25, Mel revealed what she has been up to and told her 109,000 followers: "This was the day I turned 50! I spent it cooking for the people I love. I thought it was the perfect moment to launch my new business @fulfillingsfood. I'll be @thelondesborough [pub] every Tuesday. Follow the FullFillings page for updates."

Mel's new business Full Fillings is a "new burger concept, where the art of slow cooking meets the comfort of gourmet burgers." Sharing the menu online, it includes The Beef One, The Chicken One and The Cheese One - a macaroni cheese burger.
Explaining her 'twist' on the burgers, Mel said: "We take the world's most beloved stews and curries - rich, powerful and slow-cooked to perfection - and transform them into succulent burger patties. Each patty is then breaded and deep-fried to create a crispy, golden crust that envelops a juicy, tender centre. The result: A burger that's both indulgent and unforgettable.
"But we don't stop there. Every burger is accompanied by a dipping sauce made from the curry or stew the patty was crafted from, ensuring an explosion of flavour in every bite. And no burger is complete without melted cheese, adding that perfect finishing touch."
While none of her All Saints band members, Shaznay Lewis and sisters Nicole and Natalie Appleton, appeared to comment underneath showing support, fellow chef Andi Oliver asked: "How'd it go babe? Xx happy birthday darling! Xx well done! Proud of you! X," to which Mel replied: "Thank you my darling! I frikkin loved it."
Actress Sadie Frost simply posted a heart emoji. Model and TV presenter Lisa Snowdon wrote: "Mega!! So excited my love." Socialite Poppy Delevingne posted: "Birthdayyyyy beauty!!!!" While model commented: "Oh wow!!!! Congratulations & happiest birthday beautiful Mel. I definitely have to come down and eat your grub."
Fans were also quick to post in the comments, with one writing: "Wahey! Stokey's going to love this." Another said: "Proud of you Mel! You finally did it. Big up yourself." A third said of Mel's burgers: "These look INSANELY yummy." While a fourth joked: "Can see the new album including Under the Fridge, I know where the Snacks At, Pure S'mores and Lady Marmalade glazed ham. Loving the new career swerve."
Mel will be hosting her burger residency at the The Londesborough pub every Tuesday. While it hasn't been publicised that there is a celebrity chef in the kitchen, customers are advised to book, as pub staff expect it to get very busy now the cat is out the bag. One told : "We kept the first week deliberately low key, but we do expect word of mouth publicity and demand to grow a lot."
