magician Eden Choi is used to the spotlight. The magician will be taking part in this weekend's first live semi-final, competing with a number of other acts to make it to the coveted final.
The magician has a whopping 581,000 followers at the time of writing and, in his bio, he reveals that he was runner up at the 2022 FISM World Championship Manipulation, which stands for the Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques, also known as The International Federation of Magic Societies.
The Federation was found in the 1940s and is one of the most respected international organisations in the magic community.

During his time on , fans urged for him to be given the Golden Buzzer. One wrote in the comments: "This should have been a golden buzzer moment. That was REAL magic."

Another fan noted in the comments section that he had seen Eden perform at the iconic The Magic Castle venue in Los Angeles. Known for being a place for magicians and magic enthusiasts, the Magic Castle is a special place for those in the magic .
He was also a part of the Magic Star tour, which was a sixth month run of gigs across Korea including Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Goyang, Jeonju, Suwon, where he performed alongside a number of other acts.
Eden has also met fellow magician David Copperfield and shared a snap of the pair together, writing: "With The Legend David Copperfield. I felt like I was a child while watching the show. I felt the excitement I felt when I first saw magic again."

He has also shared various snaps from his other successful shows, including when he won the Gold Prize at the 12th Shanghai International Magic Festival and Competition in 2023 and also when he received a number of accolades including Stage 1st winner, People's Choice, the FISM Asia Qualification and BIMF Guest Invitation Ticket at the Busan International Magic Festival.
Eden also shares his magic videos on TikTok, where he has a whopping 1.2 million followers. Speaking about his magic, he previously said: "It heavily revolves around sleight of hand without relying on specially built devices or equipment.
"Nowadays, when so many secrets behind magic tricks have become public knowledge, I think the effect-heavy performances run the risk of failing to appeal to general audiences as much as they used to. But a show that centres on a series of purely dexterous hand movements can still amaze spectators - like juggling, in a way."
