Kristin Cabot, who was seen cosying up to her then boss Andy Byron on a kiss cam at a Coldplay concert, has reportedly filed for divorce from her husband. It comes following a scandal after the footage emerged on social media.

Back in July, two people were seen getting cosy at one of the band's gigs in the US on their Music of the Spheres tour. They were later named as colleagues Kristin and Andy, who, it was reported, were married but not to each other.

Andy was identified as the CEO of tech firm Astronomer at the time, whilst Kristin was said to be his Head of HR. The company later announced that Andy had resigned and it was then reported that Kristin had also resigned.

According to the Daily Mail, Kristin and her husband Andrew Cabot, who are said to have been married since 2023, are now getting divorced. It reports that she filed the petition, lodging papers at a court in New Hampshire on August 13 - less than a month after the scandal broke.

It's been suggested that the alleged affair was the 'final straw' in her marriage to Andrew. A source told the outlet: "The family is now saying they have been having marriage troubles for several months and were discussing separating."

The scandal began after footage from one of Coldplay's gigs at the Gillette Stadium in Boston went viral on social media due to the 'kiss cam' moment. Initially shared on TikTok, it showed two audience members, who appeared to be swaying to the music whilst holding hands, on a balcony.

Addressing them, Coldplay member Chris Martin said: "Oh look at these two!" The pair were also seen reacting to being broadcast on a screen, with one of them quickly covering their face before turning their back to the camera, whilst the other ducked out of view. Chris said: "Alright. Come on, you're okay."

The singer-songwriter then appeared to tease over their reactions, adding: "Oh what? Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy." As the video came to an end, he was heard beginning to say to the audience: "I'm not quite sure."

Initially, the audience at the venue were heard laughing as the pair hid from the camera after first being spotted on the kiss cam. Fans however later appeared to be cheering and even whistling as musician Chris teased over the situation.

Following the gig Chris later teased that the 'kiss cam' would continue on the tour. More recently, he spoke about the decision for the band to engage with audiences in that way during one of their concerts in the UK last month.

As reported by HullLive, he made reference to the scandal at the first of their gigs at Craven Park in Hull. Whilst attempting to read a sign being held up in the crowd, he said: "First of all 'three times in three months' [and you] were at that Boston gig." Chris went on to say to the audience member: "Well, okay, thank you for coming again after that debacle."

He later said: "We've been [stopping shows to talk to fans for] a long time and it is only recently that it became a ... yeah. So yeah, life throws you lemons and you've got to make lemonade. So, we are going to keep doing it because we are going to meet some of you."
