Speaking on , Mark recalled: "He [Olly] sent me a video and I'm going to vouch for him, this ice cream looked no different to Ben and Jerrys and Häagen-Dazs. So, guess what I did? I ordered the machine."
When asked about Michelle's reaction, the former reality star added of her humorous response: "It came through yesterday and she went, 'What's that box? It's massive'.
"So, I pulled it out of the box, she read it [and said] 'Ice cream maker? Oh, that's stupid, you're not going to ever use it, it's gonna sit on the side and just take up loads of room'."
Despite his wife's scepticism, Mark insisted he will make good use of the machine because he loves ice cream.

Also on the pair's Breakfast Show, the former star shared details about a recent conversation he had with about parenting.
Mark and Michelle welcomed their first child, a baby daughter named Palma, last month and have been giving fans adorable updates ever since.
Recalling his chat with the Shape Of You singer, he said: "He just looked at me and he went, 'How are you feeling? You're obviously having sleepless nights', and I went, 'Yeah mate, I'm shattered'. And he went, 'It gets easier'."
Last month, fans gushed over Michelle's insight into her first Mother's Day.
To mark the special occasion, the pair enjoyed a day out with loved ones at a hotel in Southend.
As part of the thread shared on , the Fool Me Once actress uploaded a photo of her hugging Palma, who donned a knitted cardigan featuring her name.
In the same series of posts, she shared a tender photo of her caressing Palma's hand followed by another one of her looking down at her newborn in her pram.
