Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced a special Diwali Bonanza plan to celebrate the festive season, giving new users 4G mobile services for just Re 1. The offer, valid from October 15 to November 15, 2025, is part of the company’s push to expand its freshly launched indigenous 4G network and attract new subscribers.
Under this scheme, BSNL is providing one month of free 4G services to new users at a nominal token cost. Customers can enjoy unlimited voice calls across India, 2GB of high-speed data every day, and 100 free SMS per day. The plan also includes a free 4G SIM card, which can be activated after completing KYC verification at any BSNL Customer Service Centre.
According to BSNL Chairman and Managing Director A. Robert J. Ravi, the plan allows users to experience BSNL’s Make-in-India 4G network at no service cost. He added that the Diwali Bonanza showcases BSNL’s commitment to the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and offers customers a proud opportunity to test the quality and reliability of its network during the festive season.
To avail of the offer, customers need to visit the nearest BSNL office with valid KYC documents, pay Re 1, and activate their new SIM. The scheme offers 30 days of active validity along with all the bundled benefits from the date of activation.
This initiative follows BSNL’s earlier promotional success in August, where a similar special scheme helped the company surpass Airtel in new user additions, marking a significant milestone in India’s telecom sector.
