What did the Kremlin say on Putin's visit

Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov said Putin will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday at a regional summit in China. He said the two leaders will discuss "preparations for the December visit". He did not give any specific date. However, India and Russia have already completed the necessary preparations for Putin's visit and the date may be announced soon.

When did Putin visit India

Putin last visited India on 6 December 2021, when the 21st India-Russia annual summit was held in New Delhi. At the same time, Prime Minister Modi visited Russia twice last year. He reached Russia to attend the 22nd India-Russia summit in July and the second BRICS summit held in Kazan in October. PM Modi also invited Putin to visit India during this time. However, PM Modi could not attend the Victory Day celebrations held in Russia despite Putin's invitation.
