BGT's KSI faces backlash as he awards Golden Buzzer to 'wrong' act after romantic gesture

The contestant used his act to stage a heart-warming and surprise proposal for an audience member whose fiancé shocked the judges and studio audience by going down on one knee. The romantic gesture saw KSI slam the Buzzer, securing Harry's place in the final. However, the next act performed by nine-year-old dancer Binita Chetry wowed viewers up and down the country with her jaw-dropping dance routine.

One viewer fumed that Binita didn't get a chance to get the Golden Buzzer and raged: "Really p***es me off thst KSI would use his golden buzzer on a TALENTLESS completely staged act instead of on a 9 year old girl with a genuine gift #bgt."

As previously the golden buzzer had only featured during audition rounds since it was launched back in series eight.
