The house has been hit with a number of changes ahead of the 13 famous faces entering this evening. The likes of Jack P Shepherd, Mickey Rourke, and during the show's highly anticipated launch on Monday (April 7) night. Just hours before the new series kicks off, presenter Will Best gave viewers an exclusive look around the newly-transformed house.

Speaking to hosts and Sian Welby, Will, 40, revealed the lift that contestants usually enter through is now gone. "In the last house, there was a lift that would go up and then it would open and the celebs would come in and out. There's no lift because last series it got stuck and one of the housemates couldn't get out, so we got rid of that," he explained.

As Will made his way through the house, it's clear that many of the classic features remain, including the colourful decor and hot tub. Will said: "You'll see differences and little touches, both in terms of the layout and in terms of the decor because they're celebs. As well as eyes, there's stars everywhere just to remind them that they're big stars."

The ITV presenter then headed into the kitchen and .

He quipped: "Even their cutlery is gold, okay, now that's been requested apparently by one of the celebs going in! They won't use any utensil that isn't solid gold... that's the calibre of housemates we have in here tonight!"

Dermot, 51, was left stunned by the admission as he protested: "Come on, you've got to be kidding us!" To which Will teased: "I could be making it up but I'd assume..."

Pointing out another huge difference, Will revealed the bedroom now leads into the main room which he believes will contribute to more tension between the housemates.

"They all love forming little groups and separating from each other, but that's going to be a lot harder to do. So it's quite a subtle difference but I think that could lead to even more drama," he told Dermot and Sian.

Will then arrived in the snug space, which boasts end-to-end windows and offers an all-angles view of the rest of the garden. He said: "They can come into here if they want a little private gossip, and anything that goes on in here will just be between them and big brother."

Commenting on the transformed house, one wrote: "Really loving this new house, the change of location and the single story, more closed in feel makes it feel a lot more in line with the elstree house."

Another penned: "That layout will dramatically change things and make things a lot more intense as there is nowhere to hide!"

A third said: "It's easily the best house ITV have done, I wanted it more compact, I wanted glass doors outside into the garden."

A fourth weighed in: "I think they could've had a different theme like the paint again but the layout is cool."
