*WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Hedda*
Hedda has made both its cinematic and Prime Video debut with fans keen to know what happens in its final few moments.
Nia DaCosta's Hedda revolves around socially high-flying Hedda (played by Tessa Thompson) and her husband George (Tom Bateman) throwing a lavish party.
Everyone is invited, including Hedda's ex-lover Eileen (Nina Hoss) and her new writing partner and lover Thea (Imogen Poots).
While it isn't quite clear exactly how their relationship ended, there isn't a doubt that Hedda uses the party to bring down Eileen's relationship and professional future at any cost.
Here's a breakdown of how Prime Video's Hedda played out in its final moments.
Throughout the night, Hedda uses a series of manipulations to encourage her former lover to drink excessively before making her believe that she's lost her beloved work.
Little does she realise that Hedda has taken the manuscript and quietly burns the book that Eileen has been slaving over.
Not only does Hedda do this as an act of revenge but also to get rid of the competition since her husband George has also been attempting to write a book.
When a drunken Eileen is left perplexed by what happened to her novel, Hedda convinces her that she must have lost or destroyed it herself.
Eileen is distraught as she believed this to be the greatest work of her life and something she wrote with Thea.
But both the loss of the manuscript and her drunken state lead to Eileen lashing out at her lover, with Hedda secretly delighted to see the collapse of their relationship.
Feeling as if she has not only lost her work but her love, Eileen has been pushed to the edge.
Overcome by the events of the night, she contemplates taking her own life and a gunshot is heard, believed to be one that had been passed down by Hedda's late father.
Eileen is left wounded but it's confirmed that this wasn't a deliberate act.
Seeing how devastated Eileen is, George decides that he isn't going to sit back and do nothing.
Instead, he agrees to work with Thea to try and reconstruct the lost book from Eileen's notes, leaving Hedda baffled by his kindness.
The state of Eileen and Thea's relationship by the end is left open-ended but given that the latter is helping with the book, it does appear they will be able to get through this rocky patch.
Eileen wasn't the only one that Hedda has a history with as she had been having a fling with Judge Brack (Nicholas Pinnock) as well.
Unfortunately for her, he knew that she was the one to burn Eileen's book and threatened to expose her which would ruin Hedda's place in society.
Hedda runs off and heads back to the lake where she breaks down, with the final few moments left ambiguous as to whether she will take her own life.
Hedda is available to watch on Prime Video.
