Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may be as in love as ever on a personal level, but there seemingly has been a shift in their working relationship over the past six months. While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex used to do most official engagements together, both as royals and after quitting royal duty in 2020, this has not always been the case lately.
Instead, Meghan, 43, and Harry, 40, seem to have had a "professional separation", which has seen them carry out more solo engagements recently. While Harry has been focused on his charity work, Meghan has very much been pushing full steam ahead with her business ventures, including her brand As Ever. One body language expert has claimed a similar move shows that the pair have a "deep connection".
Speaking to Betfair Slots, body language expert Darren Stanton said: "It's apparent that Meghan is truly happy, both in her professional and personal life.
"When it comes to her public outings, she has developed in confidence and isn't afraid to attend engagements by herself.
"In the early stages of their relationship, you could see that her levels of confidence and self assurance weren't as prominent. However, as time has gone on, Meghan has gained the confidence to attend events and campaign for causes on her own.
"It's clear that she and Harry don't need to be in each other's pockets, which demonstrates a strong level of confidence, rapport, trust, and a deep connection within their relationship."
Meghan and Prince Harry celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary in May, with Meghan uploading a sweet montage of photographs of the couple on Instagram.
She captioned the post: "Seven years of marriage.A lifetime of stories.
"Thanks to all of you (whether by our side, or from afar) who have loved and supported us throughout our love story - we appreciate you. Happy anniversary!"
