There's nothing worse than a corner of your room that needs brightening up but has no plug socket to actually plug a lamp into. However, we've found a clever table lamp from Next that can add some light and decoration to the corner of your room without the need for any wires or plugs at all.
The white and gold , priced at £45, is fast becoming the must-have item for those troublesome corners, reports . It is not only a lamp but also a chic and stylish accessory.
Its compact size means it will fit on bedside tables and shelving units, while the neutral colourway effortlessly suits a range of spaces.
Next claim that the lamp will deliver up to eight hours of light on a full charge. The lamp can then be plugged in to recharge. It takes roughly five hours to replenish.

Customers have left positive reviews of the lamp on the Next website. One said: "Great little lamp for corners that have no plug socket, really pretty and easy to assemble and charge up."
Another buyer was equally thrilled, sharing: "I brought this lamp for the corner of my lounge which has no electric sockets it's a beautiful lamp, the light it gives off is really bright and it is easy to charge and it last for hours, so impressed I have brought another one."
The lamp seems to be quite a talking point among visitors, as another review highlighted: "Delighted with this purchase. My daughter bought me the vase to match. its not a bright light but is adequate for my small hallway. It does need charging periodically but this has not been a problem. It is admired by visitors."
Admirers of the lamp's aesthetic have voiced their approval too, with one noting: "Great lamp. Bigger and more substantial than expected. Once charged lasts a reasonable time. Throws a lovely pattern on the ceiling too. Glass is a nice weight not flimsy. Love it."
Its functionality as a wireless, rechargeable piece has not gone unnoticed, as pointed out by another customer: "A very pretty lamp, which matches the vases I have. It can be located anywhere, since it is rechargeable. Fast to recharge. Pleasant light."
In addition, others were quick to praise its practicality: "Very pretty and love it. It's so easy to recharge and can be moved around so convenient to use."
However, feedback wasn't universally glowing, with one user observing: "A really nice lamp but I find it a bit too bright. I'm thinking of painting the bulb orange or yellow for a more relaxing glow."
