Prince Harry will travel to the UK for four days next week, however the possible that he will meet with King Charles reportedly still hangs in the balance. Although earlier reports suggested that the father-son duo could be set to schedule a meeting next week, sources have now said that Harry has not been asked to meet the King but would accept were the offer made.
Harry reportedly hasn't been offered a stay at one of the royal palaces and is understood to be staying in a hotel at his own expense. Speaking on The Sun's show Royal Exclusive, royal expert Charles Rae predicted that a meeting between Harry and the King is unlikely.
The King will reportedly be staying in Scotland for the rest of the month so will be there during his youngest son's visit to the UK.
He told The Sun's show: "The big problem is that Harry is flying 5,500 miles to London and the King is still 500 miles away in Scotland.
"It is unlikely you would expect the King would fly down again to have a cup of tea with Harry."
He also claimed that a peace deal between the family would also need to include Prince William and Meghan Markle - which means that it is highly unlikely.
He explained: "I can't see how you could possibly have a reconciliation without the whole family being involved."

Also speaking about the possible reunion between the King and his youngest son, royal journalist Victoria Murphy added that "it would make me feel things are worse than I thought they were".
Harry is reportedly set to travel to the UK on his own, with Meghan and their children set to remain in California.
The Duke of Sussex's visit will come just days after the death of the Duchess of Kent at the age of 92.
