Rochdale crash LIVE: Woman struck by lorry as police and air ambulance swarm street

Police and air ambulance have rushed to Rochdale bypass after a woman was struck by a vehicle this afternoon.

The woman, a pedestrian, was rushed to hospital after being hit by a HGV at around 2.30pm. A large emergency presence remains at the scene and the road is closed in both directions.
