Anyone looking for a cheaper yet reliable mobile will want to look at the brand's budget ranges. Whether it's Google's newest Pixel 9a or Apple's less expensive take on its flagship range with the there are options for users who want to cut costs. And Samsung's latest deal caught our eye for that exact reason.

Samsung is offering a new deal on its more affordable Galaxy A56 5G smartphone. Anyone who buys the device will get a free Galaxy Fit3 fitness watch for £0, but that's not all. The tech giants are also giving to anyone with a phone on this list - you can

The A56 5G is already £300 cheaper than its S25 sibling, priced at £499 but the newly spotted deal drops the phone down to £399. As part of its trade-in deal Samsung will cut the price for shoppers who 'trade in any smartphone in any condition'. The deal caught our eye so we looked at the T&Cs to show exactly how consumers can make the most of this.

To find the deal, scroll down to the 'Trade-In' window and click 'Yes please'. This is where shoppers can see that all old smartphones are on the list and will cut £100 off the A56 5G price, even if it's in 'any condition, broken, or cracked'.

We clicked into the deal to check and can see that Samsung will, in fact, (down to £399) for anyone who hands over 'any smartphone' -a rare deal other providers like Apple and Google don't offer. Once clicked, all shoppers need to do is enter the model of their old phone, select the storage (it also gives the option for any GB), and the £100 will be taken off the bill.

If you have a Samsung, Apple, Google, Oppo, or OnePlus, it is also worth clicking through the other options. Up to £200 is taken off the bill for those with newer phones, which cuts the price of the A56 5G down to £299-an almost unheard-of price for a 2025 smartphone.

Shoppers with would get the full £200 discount. Namely, a Galaxy S24 FE, iPhone 13 Pro, standard iPhone 14, and iPhone 14 Plus. Those with a Google Pixel 8 and a Google Pixel 7 would get £100, and Huawei P40 Pro+ users would get £120 off - and if a phone isn't specifically listed then guaranteed 'any smartphone' tag can be used for £100 off.

The trade-in deal isn't offered at any other retailer. However, Sky and Carphone Warehouse are matching Samsung when it comes the free Fit3 fitness watch offer - so shoppers who want to spread the price across a contract can still get a deal.

splits the price into an £18 per month device cost (data costs on top) which is spread across a 36-month contract. Additionally, they're throwing in a free accessory bundle worth £139, which includes the Galaxy Fit 3.

It's important to note that Sky customers will be tied into the longest contract out of all three retailers we've picked - a commitment of 36 months. Despite the retailer advertising 12 or 24-month options online, the smaller print reveals the full contract commitment - a downside to the deal, in our opinion.

is also offering the same free Galaxy Fit3 fitness watch with the A56 5G smartphone, but it goes one step further with some plans. Those who opt for its new iD Mobile plan with the smartphone will receive an extra £50 Currys gift card to spend as they wish - something neither Sky nor Samsung are offering.
