NEW DELHI: Tensions erupted on Delhi University 's North Campus on Friday evening after a pro-Palestine march by students' groups, including Fraternity Movement, Bhagat Singh Chhatra Ekta Manch and AISA, clashed with members of ABVP near Arts Faculty.
Protesters, stopped at the gate by police, forced their way in and burnt effigies of US president Donald Trump, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and PM Narendra Modi.
ABVP members responded with counter-sloganeering, leading to a scuffle. Police said they had not received any complaint.
