Man living alone found dead near car shed, probe on

Kochi: A 44-year-old man was found dead near the car shed of his house on Saturday morning. The deceased identified as Sminu of Munambom stayed alone at the house.

Police reportedly found injuries on his body. A case was registered, and an investigation is ongoing, said the police.

Body found: The body of a man, suspected to be around 50-years-old, was recovered from the waters near the Fort Kochi beach on Saturday morning. Police said the body was spotted around 8am by local fishermen. The body is yet to be identified

Car caught fire: A car was gutted in a fire after an accident at Aluva on Friday night. The incident occurred around 11pm near Ambattukavu. The car rammed into a parked truck and caught fire, said fire personnel. No one was injured in the incident. TNN
