All The First Berserker: Khazan endings and how to obtain them

Send Push
The original Berserker might be Khazan carrying its influences, but the bloodiest of blood battles will be revealed by the heart of tragedy, betrayal, and the beautiful weight of vengeance. While the players who dare endure the incredibly well-balanced difficulties have to face their mortality like a lumbering behemoth, they do meet the end, not only supreme but a trio interpretation of different endings that are different shades of Khazan's anguish.

Three endings, one fate: Choosing Khazan’s path

For all three consequences, they say the same thing, the empire is history. Khazan is hollow, and the ghost of Ozma-friend fallen floats like a scar. But that's not how all paths will lead to that conclusion; your decisions shape that path-invisibly lurking prerequisites and fine-tuning choices will determine how much you uncover when it comes time for that final showdown.

Normal Ending

How to unlock:

This is the usual kind of ending, no effort is required except to complete the main questline. When you first arrive at Daphrona while on the Master of Chaos job at the Corrupted Lounge checkpoint, selecting the option "I will have my revenge," thereby engages you in this ending.

Key features:

  • Ozma will only have two phases during the final confrontation.
  • No cutscene featuring Charon's Chains or any special interaction after the fight.
  • Khazan laments the grave of Ozma while the Blade Phantom reminds him that Chaos still reigns.

This ending leaves the raw and immediate – vengeance wrought at what cost? This encapsulates Khazan's path as a warrior fighter who looked for justice but did so without finding the whole story of his tragedy.

Chain Ending How to unlock:

To get this dialogue choice, you must first complete the bonus mission Charon's Chains and talk to Daphrona afterward, and then you'll be available with the new option "I want to speak with him."

Key features:

  • Ozma now has three phases in the fight against him.
  • There is a cutscene in which Khazan uses Charon's Chains on him.
  • Ozma gets skewered by the Transcendental Blade. It makes his last blow heavier with visual impact.
  • Still, Khazan haunts the ruins, and the Blade Phantom again speaks of the never-ending Chaos.
If it shares in the narrative gene of Normal Ending, it is really much more about a reluctant humanity on Khazan's part. He seeks to understand things before putting an end to Ozma, even if the outcome is still incredibly grim. It's halfway between blind revenge and painful enlightenment.

True Ending How to unlock:

This ending requires some serious delving into the entire lore and side content. Here are some requirements. Get all 15 Golden Collection Items. These are scattered notes that provide background details to understand Ozma's past, plus award the "Ozma's Past" trophy. Complete all Bonus Missions - Not every single mission is confirmed to be consequential, but missions like Charon's Chains and Transcendental Sword are believed to be necessary. Speak to Daphrona at the same checkpoint, where the dialogue option "I must know the truth" becomes available only if all above conditions are met.

Key features:

  • Third phase boss fight against Ozma.
  • Extra cutscene showing Charon's Chains and Transcendental Blade being used.
  • Interact with highlighted relics after the battle to trigger the final cutscene.
  • Earn the First Berserker trophy.

The True Ending can in no wise qualify as a checklist; it aims at spiritual reckoning. Taking a tide with grief and vengeance, Khazan unfolds the entire tale, and by taking truth over wrath, he confronts not only Ozma’s betrayal but his own. Catharsis is found in understanding, not in victory — a rare moment of grace in this narrative world that rarely shows mercy.

Once again, whichever ending transpires, The First Berserker: Khazan spares no labor in denying easy answers. Rather, each ending, whether out of rage or despair or realization, reinforces a distinguishing theme: revenge is closure; peace must be earned. In Khazan's war-torn land, an act of gallantry, perhaps the truest, would be to confront the truth with the realization that it may hurt.
