Did LeBron James get paid to endorse Kamala Harris?
According to a Daily Mail article citing a Washington Free Beacon investigation, LeBron James’ production company, SpringHill Entertainment, received a $50,000 payment following his social media endorsements of Kamala Harris. The report claims the payment was made only after January 28 of this year, around the time Donald Trump 's victory was confirmed.

James has an enormous reach on social media, with 159 million followers on Instagram—far surpassing Harris' 19.7 million. On X, James has nearly 1 million followers (approximately 981,500 as of now).
In addition to the post, James shared a video produced by SpringHill Entertainment titled Hate Takes Us Back", in which he claimed that President Donald Trump was racist toward Black people. The production company captioned the post: “We are thrilled to have collaborated on producing this ad for LeBron James as he officially endorses Kamala Harris.”
Other celebrities named in the report include Cardi B, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Oprah Winfrey, and Khalid. Meanwhile, Harris campaign spokesperson Adrienne Elrod had told Deadline back in November, “We have never paid any artist and performer.”
As of now, LeBron James is focused on the NBA playoffs. The Los Angeles Lakers, seeded No. 3 in the Western Conference, are preparing to face the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round.
