PATNA: Gaya town in Bihar will now be officially known as ‘ Gaya Ji ’. The state govt approved a decision to rename the town in a cabinet meeting chaired by CM Nitish Kumar on Friday. Briefing reporters after the cabinet meeting, the State’s additional chief secretary S Siddharth said the decision was taken in view of local sentiments and the town’s historic and religious importance.
