Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday laid out three key principles guiding India’s response to terrorism under Operation Sindoor in his first public address since Operation Sindoor, in Deshnok, Bikaner.
In a firm and direct message, he outlined a three-point doctrine that will shape India’s future counter-terror strategy.
- If there is a terrorist attack on India, a befitting reply will be given. The time, the method and the conditions will be decided by our forces.
- India is not going to be scared by the threats of atom bomb.
- India will not see the masters of terror and the government that patronises terror as separate. Pakistan’s long-standing tactic of using so-called ‘non-state actors’ to avoid accountability will no longer work.
