JIND: Indian national lokdal senior leader Sunaina Chautala said that BJP leaders don’t understand the value of a woman’s sindoor. A woman applies sindoor in the name of only one man in her life. The motive behind BJP distributing sindoor from door to door is unclear, but when the time comes, women will give them a fitting reply on their own. She was here in Jind on Wednesday to meet party workers. She was replying to query regarding the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) ' Operation Sindoor ' which will commence on June 9, coinciding with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's third oath-taking, to highlight the achievements of the Modi 3.0 government nationwide. As part of this month-long public outreach, BJP aims to connect with every household, particularly by gifting vermillion to women and distributing informative pamphlets
When the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi cannot keep his own wife with him, how will he understand the value of sindoor (vermillion)? Women apply sindoor only in the name of one man. Therefore, people will give a better reply to them now," she added.
Sunaina Chautala criticized the BJP for disrespecting women through their recent statements. She stated that rajya sabha member Ramchander Jangra's statement is condemnable. BJP should take action against such leaders. As a woman, I would say that Ramchander Jangra should apologize publicly to the women of the state. INLD’s women’s wing will protest against Ramchandrr Jangra until he resigns, she added.
"Videos of BJP leaders go viral, but no strict action is taken against them. BJP’s actions have been consistently disrespectful towards the dignity of women. They made big promises to women for electoral gains, but none were fulfilled. Even the promise of Rs 2100 for women in Haryana has not been implemented to this day, said Sunaina Chautala.
Speaking on JJP leader Ajay Chautala, she said:
"What Ajay Chautala says is true, he is two years older than Abhay Chautala. There is no contradiction in this. Ajay Chautala is indeed the son of former CM late OP Chautala and older than Abhay by two years. But today, he is not a leader of INLD and should not use photo of Chautala Sahab.
INLD is a party based on the ideologies of late OP Chautala and Devi Lal. The JJP should clarify the intention behind the photo it is using. Now it is time to close the JJP chapter altogether, she added.
