Bhopal: The Tatya Tope Stadium has launched its summer camp, offering training in 22 sports disciplines to over 3,500 young athletes until June 30. The camp aims to provide foundational sports instruction through 120 experienced trainers.
The initiative has three stages: identifying promising athletes, connecting them to departmental initiatives like 'Pratibha Khoj' and 'Khelo Badho Abhiyan', and integrating exceptional athletes into sports academies and competitions like 'Khelo MP' to nurture future sports champions.
Sports minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang emphasized that the camp will prepare students to become disciplined and capable citizens. Talented participants will receive advanced training, sports academy placements, and competition exposure.
