A 4.7 magnitude earthquake hit Nepal's Kaski district in the western region on Tuesday afternoon, according to officials.
According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre, the tremor occurred at 1.59 pm, with its epicentre located in the Sinuwa area of Kaski district, approximately 250 kilometres from Kathmandu .
Tremors were also felt in nearby districts like Tanahu, Parvat, and Baglung. No immediate reports of damage were received following the quake.
Earlier, on May 14, a 4.6 magnitude quake had struck Chheskam in Nepal's Solukhumbu district.
