New Delhi, India — CMF, a sub-brand of Nothing, officially launched its latest true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds lineup in India on Monday, introducing the CMF Buds 2a, Buds 2, and Buds 2 Plus. The new models promise up to 14 hours of playback on a single charge, advanced active noise cancellation (ANC) features, and enhanced connectivity options, positioning themselves competitively in the Indian audio market.

Pricing and Availability

The CMF Buds 2a, Buds 2, and Buds 2 Plus are priced at ₹2,199, ₹2,699, and ₹3,299 respectively. All three models are available for purchase through Flipkart, offering consumers accessible options across various price points.

In terms of colors, the CMF Buds 2a and Buds 2 come in Dark Grey and Orange, with the Buds 2 also offering a Light Green variant. The Buds 2 Plus are available in Blue and Light Grey colorways, providing a stylish range to suit different preferences.

Key Features and Specifications

The CMF Buds 2a come equipped with Dirac-tuned 12.4mm Bio-Fibre drivers and offer up to 42dB ANC with a transparency mode for ambient awareness. The CMF Buds 2 feature 11mm PMI drivers with Dirac Opteo tuning and achieve up to 48dB hybrid ANC, while the Buds 2 Plus boast 12mm LCP drivers, Hi-Res Wireless Audio certification, LDAC support, and Smart Adaptive ANC up to 50dB.

All three models feature Ultra Bass Technology 2.0, Wind Noise Reduction 3.0, and Spatial Audio support, aiming to deliver a comprehensive audio experience. For calls, the Buds 2a include four HD microphones with Clear Voice Technology, while the Buds 2 and Buds 2 Plus integrate six HD microphones each, enhanced by Clear Voice Technology 3.0.

Battery Life and Additional Features

Each set of earbuds is backed by a 460mAh charging case, offering substantial playback times. Individually, the Buds 2a earbuds house a 43mAh battery, while the Buds 2 and Buds 2 Plus each contain a 53mAh cell.

The CMF Buds 2a are reported to provide up to eight hours of playback without ANC and up to 35.5 hours with the case. A 10-minute quick charge can deliver up to five and a half hours of usage. The CMF Buds 2 promise 13.5 hours of standalone battery life and up to 55 hours combined with the case, with a rapid 10-minute charge enabling around seven and a half hours of playback. The CMF Buds 2 Plus stand out with an impressive 14-hour single charge battery life and up to 61.5 hours with the case, along with up to eight and a half hours of use from a 10-minute quick charge.

All models support dual-device connectivity and are compatible with the Nothing X app. In terms of durability, the Buds 2 and Buds 2 Plus come with an IP55 rating, while the Buds 2a hold an IP54 rating, ensuring resistance against dust and splashes.
